Lara and Grant, a couple from Australia, chose Villa Ferrano for an intimate wedding that marked a milestone for The Villa: our very first celebration held in its gardens.

For Lara, the choice was personal. With Italian roots on her father's side and a home of her own in Italy, she has long felt deeply connected to the country. She first stayed at Ferranino with her family in 2019, and years later she surprised us by writing to say she wanted to return for her wedding. She didn't know the villa gardens had just been readied for events, and she was thrilled to be the first.

The day began with Lara getting ready at Villa Arco. Her father then drove her to The Villa in a 1969 Mercedes convertible and walked her down to the Palm Terrace, where guests were waiting and a circle of flowers framed the ceremony.

Aperitivo followed poolside before guests gathered on the main piazza for dinner at a single long table dressed with olive branches. The celebration carried on inside The Villa, with a DJ keeping everyone dancing.

The couple extended their stay for several days, settling into Podere Le Coppiole and Podere Ferranino.
